Try to discover what God wants of you...

... that was the take home message Father gave at homily in the weekend. We went to St Jerome's for mass instead and I'm so glad we finally did decide to as it was a blessed and prayerful time indeed. For starters, the cantor was fabulous, for she sounded so angelic, as if they were playing a CD in the background. I know, it's not for us to judge, but we both felt so much more at home there, and hooray, there was homily, although the gospel reading was real long. It seems like a trend for priests here to make a disclaimer at the start of their homilies that they will keep it short and sweet so not to worry, I always wonder why they do that; perhaps the people here have a shorter attention span than us. Come to think of it, we should really give ourselves pats on our backs for lasting through some long homilies back home(though always very insightful and enriching I must say).

Indeed, it seems like a tough call but I believe being more aware of the happenings in your surroundings and every move you make, every breathe you take, every word you say, helps us all to be able to behave more in the image of God. Slowly but surely, God will reveal in His own time what His call holds for us. But one thing's for sure, he wants us to be happy. Yup, you and me, His children, how wonderful that is yah? :)

Okay, it seems like a great start to my Monday morning thusfar, hope it stays that way. Have yourself a good week ahead too! :)
