Make the Best of Each Day!

Indeed, as the Gospel for this Sunday says, Do not Worry about tomorrow for our Heavenly Father knows what's best for us. In light of all the saddening news that greet us daily, the recent NZ earthquake, Flooding in Queensland and just today in Perth, flash flooding and heavy rains in certain parts, it makes me even more certain that we should live life to the fullest - to do the things that we want to do, not to live with regrets. That's partly the spur for me to take many things on my plate, for I know I want to do the things that I enjoy and of coz still contributing to the wallet of our family.

For starters with regards to my teaching career, as mentioned in my earlier blog, I'm back on track. Shan't mention about the other teaching related stuff as yet coz mi dun wanna "jinx" it (as Adel would say - hee, the lingo of kiddos these days, gosh I'm always losing track - this only means one thing, I'm growing olddddd.... oh well, better not get me started.........)

Thank You God for keeping us safe, we know you have always been watching over us and are very grateful! We continue to pray for our loved ones back in Singapore and in Spain, keep them all close to you and us close to them in prayers and thoughts especially.

I am really very grateful today as I watched the news on TV of roofs in the Northern and Eastern suburbs being blown away or houses in slight ruins coz of the storm, for God has kept Ivan and myself safe, for we only experience a slight shower. Indeed, our God is good. Of course my heart goes out to the victims of the recent disasters and with these, it really got me reflecting on how precious life is, how we should make the best of what we have and to be appreciative of all things around us, love you lots Mummy, Daddy, Adel! :)

Signing off for now...
