S-I-N-G-A-P-O-R-E!!! It was a quite a bumpy budget flight for the surprise trip back. Was quite bad as I could even feel the air pressure against my body - felt my face contorted a little and also felt pains to my chest. It was a first such bad experience and hopefully, the last... Thank God we landed safely on an early Friday morning. Had pre-breakfast about 4plus in the morning before going back to Ivan’s to pack stuff and then over to Mum and Dad’s for the surprise! ;)
“What are you doing here?” was the phrase Mummy repeated quite a few times when she saw us at her doorstep. Hee, it made us feel a little “uninvited” but I know she was overjoyed to see us although in her sleepy stupor, she could not quite reconcile it as yet.
It sure was a magical time spent with my family and Ivan’s family. Ivan’s Gor’s family from Spain was also around. They arrived in Singapore a day after us due to flight delays. Din really go many places, found ourselves hanging out at Novena area quite a bit, dining at Hong Kong Family Street Restaurant opp Novena square, Wee Nam Kee and Vines opp Novena church, Soup Restaurant in United Square, Bakerz Inn also in United Square… Novena rocks!!! The places weren't important, what mattered was the company. :)
