GoodBye seems to be the Hardest Word

BYE BYE BLUEY! *Sobs Sobs* I watched on sadly as the Tow Contractor got into Bluey, turned his engine on, probably for the last time, and drove him up the ramp that led Bluey onto his truck and to his final destination. :(

Bluey has officially been written off by the Insurance company because of the recent hailstorm in March and they took until recently to settle and bring the matter to a close; I guess it was a blessing in disguise that they took their time as it gave us more time to spend with Bluey. If not, we would barely have driven him for a month plus before the disaster had struck!

As a result of Bluey’s departure, we had to get a replacement. In search of a new car we went… Ivan decided to let me get my dream car, on the condition that I take to the wheel more often. You see, ever since I got my license in Nov 2009, I’ve probably only driven about say a few times? Suffice to say, it can be counted with one hand, or so I think.

On that fateful Saturday, last week, we went to check out the Blue Honda Jazz advertised on www.carsales.com.au, yup that’s my dream car, a cute and funky Jazz! ;) It was love at first sight, the price was okay but we managed to bring it down a little lower too… so there you have it, we are now proud owners of Bluey Junior aka BJ (named in memory of Bluey…oh how I miss him so). Okie dokie, enough of all the talk, I shall let you see the pictures! Oh, one more thing before that… we have decided to come up with a Bluey Museum! Uh-huh, it’s our little mini-project – aimed to be completed by end 2010. It’ll be housed in our garage, with artefacts, write-ups and of course pictures galore! Hee! ;)

Ivan trying to remove as many things fr Bluey as possible...for momento...
BJ managed to meet his ancestor Bluey as the tow company delayed the "pick-up" of Bluey...
Hope we can keep at least one of the number plates as momento,
coz we have to return it to get back refund for the car registration that we paid for...
That's me driving BJ into the garage when Ivan went to pick BJ up from the caryard.
