Was really ecstatic and over the moon when we got the keys and still can't believe we have our car outside the house now. Well, Ivan's gonna send me to work in the car tom, just testing to see how it's like. Today he sent me to work too, but on the bus and train, hee!
Oh yes, speaking about work... it was quite interesting, learnt quite a lot of things abt diamonds and jewellery already, info overload... but time reali passed very fast though. Reached the shop early today and helped out to display the jewellery in the window display, was just so different from what I'm used to, but I think I'll get used to it over time. Started work official when my supervisor (Mrs Boss) came and we just did admin stuff all the way till 3pm, before I went for my half an hr lunch break! Luckily my tummy was quite friendly to me today, perhaps it knows that it's my first day of work and was quite merciful to me... if not usually, I would have gotten real terrible gastric.
Glad I had something to look forward to in the evening as we arranged with the seller to pick BLUEY up! :P The two of them, Jon & Eugenea were such wonderful people! They even gave us a bottle of wine coz they said they were so happy for us too! Thank God for sending such lovely people to us. Oh sthg else uncanny that we discovered... in Jon's words, "Freaky!" Both Ivan and the ex owner of the car, Eugenea, share the same birthday, and are only a year apart... I guess God was really making us wait for Bluey and I am sure Ivan would agree with me, it was definitely worth the wait! :) The weather's getting cooler, with tom's temp between 18-29, better wear thicker clothing, mi starting to feel chilly already, esp when the cool wind blows strongly...
