First official day in Perth! Floodgates open...

Finally got down to writing again...for the ardent readers of my blog,miss me?;) I already miss my family, friends and Singapore liao. Especially the food. :P Our 1st meal away fr hm on board Qantas was beef w rice which wasnt very tasty. :(

Thanks to everyone who came to send us off...sorry we didn't manage to talk to everyone, thanks lots for your presence though, really glad to see so many pple who love us there.

Well, I have to say it has been tough...my tap was switched on at the departure gates and all the way onto the plane. Even before, during and after take-off, I was breaking in and out of tears. Luckily, our flight was quite okay this time around, with no major boo-boos, although I did have an encounter. I always have affinity with such... You see, the toilet was vacant and so I opened to enter and lo and behold, an old man was peeing, luckily it was back view and I closed the door shut before there's further embarrassment! ;)

Oh, have to state a disclaimer here, please give us some time to settle down before we get down to catching up with you guys individually, in the meantime, do read my blog for daily updates yah? I'll try to make it a daily affair...hee!

There was another close call at Perth airport though. We almost lost our luggage! This lady happily just removed our luggage from the luggage belt without first checking the tag. Luckily I was vigilant and went after her- she claimed she had not gotten round to checking the other side of the bag yet, utter nonsense!

To end off on a more serious note, other than my floodgates opening, Ivan was also with me. Truthfully, I was a lil taken aback when I saw him tearing too... Guess we both just feel overwhelmed. :( I even started to think of what life would be like when we resettle back in Singapore, but that's another story. For now, will pray that our dear Lord will continue to help us settle down and prepare our hearts and strengthen us for what is to come! :)
