Still at Albany... more pictures

At Cosy Corner Beach - near our accomodation
On our early morning walk up the trail...
The view from the top, worth every bit of the walk.
At Winson Inlet, it was so peaceful as it was a sheltered bay...
At the Dog Rock, can you see why it got named so?
There are few stories surrounding this but the most famous is that of a settler Silverthorne and his wife who left their daughter at home to meet an arriving mail ship.
When they returned, they found their daughter surrounded by tribal natives but their dog, Victor, was there and barked ferociously that the aborigines who reacted by throwing spears at it.
The Silverthornes then buried the dog on the western slope of Mt Clarence but a wild storm that night washed the grave away.
The next day however, the granite boulder in the shape of a Spaniel's head mysteriously appeared.
At Princess Royal Harbour.
Yummy salt and pepper squid with equally shiok fish and chips! :P
Near Emu Point, look at the Pelicans, they were fast heading towards a boat, for food i think...
The Brig Amity - a replica of the boat that brought the first settlers to W.A.

A group photo at the Wind farm.
Look at the expanse of the view from one of the lookouts...
Ivan was like a kid, he just had to climb up to take this pic...
even joked that the door behind him into the turbines was ajar...
Had to keep my hat from flying away... was super windy... that's why this spot was chosen for the Wind Farm,
was decided and completed after 20 years when research first started.

Look everyone, Ivan is flyyyiiiinng............
The magnificient view.
