Thank God It's Friday! :)

Dear Lord,

I am so thankful for so many things today... :) The morning started with dramas, there were 2 rings for this particular customer that was due today and I checked with the relevant salesperson as there were some issues and she sort of flared up at me. To that, I tried to be assertive and said that I did my part but it was just that she was on biz trip earlier in the month and later on she was sick for a while. Thereafter, time just flew by and to cut the long story short, the job was not completed when it should be and she sort of yelled at me. I actually said the words, "It's not my fault, you weren't around..." I think she realised I was upset coz she later assured me that she was not angry with me but just with the jeweller and how things are done.

Well, God really provides coz she asked me to call the customer to explain there she was away and all and that there has been some delay in the jobs as they were supposedly coming down all the way from down South to Perth City to collect the ring. I first called her mobile phone but to no avail, was so worried that she was on her way to our shop actually, won't know what to explain. Then, I called her home number and lo and behold, she was home, aka she wasn't on her way to Perth. That means we were okay, at least for that while. Thank God that there was some changes in her plans too and she would not be coming till 18th Oct, so it gives us time to fight the "fire". PHEW! :)

Another thing that I would like to thank God for is Ivan. For his gentleness and his nature, just being who he is... and that God has brought us together and helped us stay together centered in His love thusfar. You see, I have a colleague who is actually leaving to go back to the country where she comes from so as to "keep her husband." They have been apart for awhile and he supposedly strayed. Really felt this immense sadness when I heard about her situation. I pray for her earnestly that God will make a Way for her marriage and keep her family together, she has two school-going kids too.

Oh yes, how can I forget, another thing to be grateful for is family, esp now that Irving and daddy are here. Oh and we are going Margaret river this weekend for a short trip, will flood my blog with pictures galore when we get back yah?

One last thing, am typing this quickly before leaving office, going to meet them at Freo for fish and chips and definitely yummy San Churros aka Dark Hot choc with churros!

This is my "birthday cake" that my colleagues got for me as an advanced birthday surprise coz I will be back in Singapore then celebrating with my sis, hee! It sure was a pleasant shock coz it was way too early for my celebration...heehee! Okay, gotta log off and go meet Ivan. Will write more soon. Ciao for now. :)
