I must say that Ivan and I have been real conservative with our eating habits before we had our family and friend visiting us few weeks back. Gosh, it seems like sucha long time ago though. We really went all out during the time they were here and I really never feasted so much in a long while. You see, prior to their arrival, we usually eat a simple bread and jam/ peanut butter breakfast - gone is the luxury of eating BreadTalk bread with fillings, but have gotten used to it and can't really eat too heavy in the early morning too. Oh, once in a while, we would have croissants and crumplets with our spreads.
For lunch, we usually pack sandwich or the previous nite's leftover to work. In the beginning, I have to say I felt a little sad, like as if we cannot even indulge in the simple pleasures of life but am quite excited about the delicious sandwich combinations and lunchbox food that we bring to work. Other than helping us save money, it's more practical too coz I've only got 1/2 hour lunch time so by the time I wait for my food to be ready, I would probably have to gobble it up.
In the past (not too long ago, a few weeks maybe), Mr Teo was always bent on cooking, on days that I feel tired after work, he will ask me to rest and take over the realm of cooking. He's often the main chef though, while I'm on the sidelines giving tips and advice! Hee! Nowadays, he's more open to eating out once in a while and we make it more of a point to plan outings although it's just the 2 of us only.
For starters, we have been going to this Fruit and Veg market & the nearby supermarket to do shopping on Sundays and eating out at least once a week, gives me something to look forward to. We wanna get involved in church too but thought should settle down with our lives first coz we'll prob go to the church near our new place (whereever it is). Okay enough of all my talk, here are some backdated pictures of the feasting we did when we had visitors. :P
I'm looking forward to another round of Dim Sum next week,
Mr Teo says he will bring me to Dragon Palace, this a little pricey but which has superb Hao Gao! :P
Realised most entries had so many pictures of Mr Teo, now my turn, hee! :)
No matter how full we are, there's always space for desserts! YAY!
At this place, we found the Best HOT CHOCOLATE we have ever drunk, it's to-die-for! :)
Grilled fish and Chilli mussels from Kailis...
