Went to quite a few Second hand caryards (They call it "Pre-Owned" here). Makes sense dun u think, after all sometimes, the cars are sometimes third hand or even fourth hand. ;) As our budget was 10K and under, we did not have much range to choose from but there were still some. :) Didn't realise how overwhelming it can be to buy a car, it's our first time anyway, I must say it has been an eye-opener. Indeed, I am sure God wanted us to go through the whole experience and come out of it wiser, hee! Coz I was seriously looking at cutting corners, as in get cars from friend's friends that sort of thing... The sun sure wasn't too friendly yesterday too, letting us feel its presence with the strong rays.
Just a back track a little on our road thus travelled... Our 1st recommended car viewing of the Deep Purple Honda Viewing didn't go too well coz the car was old and needed major servicing. Our supposed-to-be 2nd viewing did not even happen as the car (my dream Honda Jazz) went out the garage fast! :(
What has been quite exciting actually is the calling up of private car owners and arranging for viewing of the car. We did our 1st official one today, although the car was a no-go, coz of its squeeky brakes and poor maintenance and care of the exterior, it sure was fun, arranging to meet and hoping that THAT was the ONE. I am sure we will be like, "This is it!" when we finally meet the car that is meant for us...:)
Hee, of coz it sure has been stressful on ivan's side, asking him to make all the phone calls to the pte car owners... well, I have been a good support, giving moral support and soft promptings of questions to ask by the side...:)
