Yup, m reporting live from Perth, today is Day 3. We are just chilling out at our friend's place, going online and doing the necessary before having a long weekend ahead. We'll be heading down to the city tomorrow and sat, will be meeting my pri sch fren who's currently living in perth. Sun, we will be heading to a strawberry farm.
Day 1 was just for us to rest and relax coz our bodies were adapting to the change in weather. I was having headache while Ivan had his usual sinus. We hopped on to the Perth city shuttle for a long 2 hr ride to the city coz the bus was stopping at at least 8 stops prior to our stop where my friend was supposed to get us from after work. Haha, and it's also a day of goodbye to old stuff.My shoes were peeling and in the end the sole actually fell off and there was sthg wrong with my watch strap too.:(
Day 2, which was yesterday, we went to Joondalup, a nearby shopping complex to get sm errands done. Bought sm groceries n bought an aussie hp sim card plus ivan converted his driving license too. Was quite a day of accomplishments with an interesting encounter at the end of the day. We actually got a free bus ride back. When we asked the guy how much it would cost for the trip back, he actually told us, "Take a seat." Yup, and that was it! Before we know it, we reached our stop and thanked him before alighting. My fren's sister was saying that the driver probably thought that we did not understand English and did not want to bother explaining anything further to us. :)
