1st Day at school...

Well, felt so different going to a totally new environment. For one, everything seems to be scaled down, from the furniture, to the ABCs, 123s and of course the children. ;) I must say that the first day was quite a blur as I had no idea re the flow of things, and the children, I should say some were brats but all were in need of one thing, attention. When they do communicate and talk to you, their cute innocence definitely overflowed from them. Haha, one interesting take home from the day though, was that they actually need a lot of guidance in learning as well as they love song and dance! ;) I tried to get the children to settle down during one of the lessons and used the same 'trick' I do with the lower secs, about counting to 10 and last person to settle down will have to sing a song. Imagine my amazement when the kids actually volunteer to come up in front of the class and sing! haha! :P "Kena-Bang!" Oh, another take home, all Jordan's are the same... Yup Mr Jordan Yeo, if you're reading this...coz I have a Mr Jordon Lim in my class and he's also quite a bit to handle...wonder if Mr Yeo was like that when he was younger, super active, cannot stop talking...etc etc... k, will pen down more thoughts and reflections over the weeks.
